Becoming a Member of the Memphis Music Foundation
We believe that Memphis Means Music and Music Means Business. When you support the Memphis Music Foundation not only do you become a part of our city’s incredible cultural legacy, you play an integral role in shaping its future, both artistically and economically.
The Memphis Music Foundation supports Memphis music for the economic development of the city. The Foundation’s flagship program, the Memphis Music Resource Center, is the only one of its kind in the world, offering music industry education, business training and individual, solution-based strategies to its more than 1,600 artist members at no cost. Through the Resource Center, musicians build clear measurements for success and metrics to evaluate their outcomes. Through the Foundation, Memphis invests in its future as no other city in America does, by educating our musicians and empowering them to seize their economic future.
The Foundation is funded, in part, by public and private funds provided through the Economic Development (MemphisED) Plan, designed to ensure economic growth and prosperity in Memphis and Shelby County. However, a significant portion of our funding comes from generous individual supporters like you. No matter your budget, every gift helps.Â
